CANCELLED — BKC Specialty Show – Saturday, 11/14/2020
From Jeanne Buente, BKC President
I am writing to report that the BKC Board voted to CANCEL the November 2020 Specialties, Sweepstakes & Supported Entries held in conjunction with the 4 day All-Breed shows, due to the changes put into place by the Cluster. A location change along with a 1500 dog limit per day was decided due to concerns that the Columbus Health Dept. might cancel the shows at the last minute.
The November 2020 All-Breed shows are still being held, but will be at the Roberts Centre Royal Canin Hall in Wilmington, Ohio. It is a lovely facility, and is the location of the 2022 KCA National. So, you can still attempt to enter the November shows. The opening date is October 28th at 10:00 a.m. Superintendent is MBF. The entry fee is $34. There has been a judge change for the Lima KC show on Saturday. The COKC judge on Sunday is still the same.
The good news is that plans are in the works for the April 2021 shows at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in the Buckeye Building. There will now be 3 days of All-Breed shows with Dan Emmett KC on Friday and Saturday, & COKC on Sunday. The Specialty clubs are being instructed to consider holding their specialties as Concurrent Events. More information on this when it is available.
